Song: Sowing the Seeds of Love
Album: The Seeds of Love
Year: 1989
"I spy tears in their eyes, they look to the skies for some kind of divine intervention...
Food goes to waste, so nice to eat, so nice to taste...
Politician Granny with your high ideals, h
ave you no idea how the majority feels?
So without love and a promised land w
e're fools to the rules of a government plan, k
ick out the style, bring back the jam..."
*A QUICK ONE: For some reason this song sounds so very playful to me, like you could learn stuff while listening to it... I don't know why it reminds me of my Elementary School English books, specifically one called ESL and its drawings.
I don't know, but whenever I listen this song, 'Shout', and 'Everybody wants to rule the world', I'm transported to my childhood... I remember watching 'Power Rangers' at my grandparents' house and during commercial breaks there was this TV ad 'Best music of the 80's' or something like that, you know, these compilation CD's and the scrolling songs on screen and the one being played was in yellow letters... Well, 'Everybody wants to rule the world' was one of them and I really liked it, I watched the ad for the song... How I miss that age...
And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
