Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song

Artist: Led Zeppelin
Song: The Rain Song
Album: Houses of the Holy
Year: 1975

"It is the summer of my smiles, flee from me keepers of the gloom. Speak to me only with your eyes, it is to you I give this tune. Ain't so hard to recognize these things are clear to all through time to time..."

*SOME FACTS:
  1. I kinda "stole" this CD from my dad. He had this kept in a drawer and one day I was digging the stuff he kept in that cabinet, which was located in the dining room... Anyway, when I saw this I had probably only heard one or two Led Zeppelin songs and I said "oh cool" but to be honest I didn't pay much attention to it at the moment, I was still an ignorant brat, but one day I asked my dad if I could borrow it, so I grabbed the CD and another day I put it on the car stereo while I was waiting for my mom to get off work and I was blown away by it so I decided that the CD was mine from that moment on.
  2. This song is somehow the result of a George Harrison's comment, when he told John Bonham that the "problem" with Led Zeppelin is that the did not do any ballads.

And remember... If you liked it, buy it... Or steal, I mean, inherit it from your dad!
