Artist: Frightened Rabbit
Song: Nitrous Gas
Album: Pedestrian Verse
Year: 2013
"I'm dying to tell you that I'm dying here..."
"And if happiness won't come to me, hand me the nitrous gas... Leave the acute warm heartedness, go where the joyless bastard is, he's dying to bring you down with him... Suck in the bright red major key, spit out the blue minor misery, I'm dying to bring you down with me..."
*A GREETING: Well, first of all I would like to say hi and then list a few things I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for being healthy, for having my parents, for my having my grandparents, with their ailments but still rocking, for being able to run, for being able to listen and play music, which is my greatest passion.
And in general, I'm grateful for a bunch of things and even though sometimes I don't acknowledge that, I am. It often comes to perspective. However, I'm not even close to being, what you can call, truly happy. Sure, today is all glitter and best wishes, but tomorrow it's likely to be just like yesterday, or like 5, 7, 9 years ago and I can't seem to solve that equation, time won't stop and I'm older now.
Again, it all comes down to perspective, that's why I like the idea of this song and the nitrous gas. Who knows, maybe tomorrow my perspective will have changed, if not, there must be a "nitrous gas-ish" solution.
Anyhow, THANK YOU ALL!

And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
