Alexander - Old Friend

Artist: Alexander
Song: Old Friend
Album: Alexander
Year: 2011

"Who is this man, who's afraid of death, who fears it so that death's all he brings, I suppose he'll wage war till nothing is left, with a mouth full of teeth and nothing to sing. Well he put his hands around my neck and I suppose I let him from natural respect, and he frothed at the mouth, I twinkled my eye and gave him this vision just before I died..."

*A QUICK ONE: This is a clear example of postponing things. I remember when it just came out, having it in front of my face, within my reach, but since I had spent my money and felt somehow "guilty" I decided not to buy it, even though I could have.

Anyhow, I find this song so soothing, but the kind of redemption-resignation-goodbye kind of soothing.

And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
