Jeremy Messersmith - Hitman

Artist: Jeremy Messersmith
Songs: Hitman
Album: Heart Murmurs
Year: 2014

"I need a hitman for my heart, someone to bump it off a balcony, nonchalantly leave the scene, I need a hitman for my heart, it doesn't care who might get hurt, never thinks, only loves recklessly, slow, but sure, it's killing me, I need a hitman for my heart..."

*A QUICK COMMENT: This CD is so good you should all buy it 3 times and give 2 copies away just for the sake of its awesomeness. Jeremy Messersmith is going places.

Jeremy Messersmith - Great Times

Artist: Jeremy Messersmith
Songs: Great Times
Album: The Alcatraz Kid
Year: 2006

"If I had a slightly better life, one that's built to last a while, that doesn't disappoint, but I'm so tired of myself, I'd be much happier if I was someone else..."

*A HAPPY ONE: This CD is fucking pure gold. I was gonna write that this guy deserved so much more recognition, but then I saw that he just signed with 'Glassnote Records' and  that made me so freaking happy for him. Well deserved!

Jeremy Messersmith - Novocain

Artist: Jeremy Messersmith
Songs: Novocain
Album: The Alcatraz Kid
Year: 2006

"I used to be so young, but now I'm oh so beaten down, my friends are nowhere to be found, I find myself alone..."

"I could have been someone but now my name is a just a ghost, my reputation is a joke, my eyes won't cry..."

*NOT A COMPLAINT: What should I write about it? About boredom? Frustration? Helplessness? I mentioned them because lately not a single day goes by without me feeling one of these... It's like my mind was 100 years old.

But let's start with boredom. It is as if  I was going through a downward spiral, you try to occupy yourself in something, anything, but in the end you know it leads you nowhere, not even close to what you want.

Frustration, it like a cyclical  process, you think 'aw damn, I have this problem', then you think 'Yes, maybe that's the solution' and then you think 'aw damn, in order to get the solution I need something more which I don't have either', and that takes you to helplessness, which is like the final blow leading to inaction...
