*A COMMENT: I think this song is about death, the only certain thing in life, and according to one of the greatest men of our generation, who recently passed away, "death is likely the single best invention of life". He used to use death as an engine, as a motivation... He said:
"Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."
As I already said in a previous post, I constantly think about death, and I couldn't agree more with him, death is a good motor, especially when we only got so little time and just one life to be who we are to be and to do what we are to do... And that is that, there is no turning back...
Finally I must admit I'm really shocked about Steve Jobs' death, and how not to be? As I've already mentioned he was one of the greatest men of our generation, he had goal, a dream, a vision and he set out to achieve it. Loved, hated, criticized, idolized, you name it, but never ignored, after all he was courageous enough to change the world... Geniuses should not die, geniuses should not be allowed to die...
R.I.P. Steve Jobs... Sure thing the world will miss you.
P.S. Thanks for creating the iPod, undoubtedly the best companion for a guy like me...
