Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers - Mary Jane's Last Dance

Artist: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Song: Mary Jane's Last Dance
Album: Greatest Hits
Year: 1993

"Well, I don't know, but I've been told, you never slow down, you never grow old, I'm tired of screwing up, tired of going down, tired of myself, tired of this town... Oh, my my, oh, hell yes, honey, put on that party dress, buy me a drink, sing me a song, take me as I come 'cause I can't stay long..."

*A QUICKIE: I must have been like 9 or 10 years old when I saw this video and I remember saying to myself "Aww why doesn't she come alive"... I guess I imagined some kind of 'Frankensteinish" story, but instead of someone assembling a body, there's a dead guy stealing the corpse of a pretty girl (Kim Bassinger) from the morgue... ENJOY THIS CLASSIC...

And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
