Song: Solitude is Bliss
Album: Innerspeaker
Year: 2010
"Cracks in the pavement underneath my shoe, I care less and less about and less about you, no one else around to look at me so I can look at my shadow as much as I please, all the kicks that I can't compare to making friends like you're all supposed to..."
"Company's okay, solitude is bliss, there's a party in my head and no one is invited..."
"Company's okay, solitude is bliss, there's a party in my head and no one is invited..."
*A COMMENT: That's the thing, most people don't know how to be alone, can't cope with it, can't stand it. That's sad and they should feel sad... For them it is preferable building fake bonds than being on their own, basically they can't find themselves.
I consider myself lucky because from a young age I learned how to deal with being alone, how to enjoy my own company, enjoy that constant 'me-time' and not going nuts about it... Sure it overwhelms me every now and then but it is something I've mastered now.
Not that I want to be alone forever, but I can cope...
And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
