Editors - Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors

Artist: Editors
Song: Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors
Album: An End Has A Start
Year: 2007

"How can we wear our smiles with our mouths wide shut 'cause you stopped us from singing..."

"We've all been changed from what we were, our broken hearts left smashed on the floor. I can't believe you if I can't hear you..."

*A COMMENT (YAY!): What I want to share with you is the following: I don't know if I should call this an irony, a coincidence or a strange version of Murphy's Law, but anyway, last few days have been very dull, and sometimes in the afternoons, I literally, have nothing to do and no one calls but the very day (today) I get sleepy and decide to take a nap, I receive 4 phone calls while trying to nap, the first one, although a bit upset, there was no problem, I was still in the mood for napping, the second, no problem either, I was able to "fall" again, but the third one was the one that stole my slumber and I was trying to force myself but nope, that was it, and when I was standing up, the fourth call came and I was like "you have got to be kidding me".

You might wonder, "but what does this song have to do with the nonsense above?" Well, I'm not getting much into the meaning of the song, but the title itself represents an irony as you go to a hospital to recover your health, but yet you find people just outside doing something (smoking) that undermines it... Imagine this on a lung cancer patient who has to go outside the hospital premises to have a cigarette... Sad isn't it?

P.S. And just before I go, I just wanted to vent and flip this asshole off, who thinks that the entire gym equipment is his or that the gym has some kind of layaway program! This is for you ,l,, (-_-) ,,l, :)

P.S. 2 Editors is in my Top 5 of favorite bands.

And remember... If you liked it, buy it...
